Double Your Impact with Corporate Matching Gifts

Many employers match donations made by their employees, enabling you to multiply your support for the EveryLibrary Institute.

Help us protect and strengthen libraries across the country by doubling your impact through a corporate matching gift.

Why Make a Corporate Matching Gift?

A matching gift is one of the easiest ways to increase the value of your donation. Many employers will match charitable contributions made by their employees, retirees, or even spouses — effectively doubling or even tripling your support for libraries.

EveryLibrary Institute is a GuideStar Platinum-rated nonprofit dedicated to public education, civic engagement, and strengthening libraries across the country through research, publishing, and training. As a 501(c)(3), we work to bridge societal gaps, empower local communities, and support the future of the librarianship profession.

How to Make a Matching Gift

  1. Make a donation to the EveryLibrary Institute: https://www.everylibraryinstitute.org/donate
  2. Check your eligibility: Ask your employer (or your spouse’s/partner’s employer) if they offer a charitable matching gift program. Many companies manage this through platforms like Benevity, YourCause, or CyberGrants.
  3. Submit a match request: Complete your employer’s process for matching gift submissions. This typically involves filling out a form through their giving portal or HR department with the donation details.
  4. Include our information: You’ll need to share the EveryLibrary Institute’s nonprofit and tax information (see below).
