EveryLibrary Institute, NFP

The EveryLibrary Institute, NFP is dedicated to ensuring continued public and political support for library funding and the role of librarians in society. The core work of the EveryLibrary Institute will be to advance a research, training, and programmatic agenda that strengthens a policy and funding framework for libraries and librarians in the future. The EveryLibrary Institute’s 501(c)3 charter is aligned with our companion organization EveryLibrary and its 501(c)4 mission of "building voter support for libraries", but functions solely within traditional c3 grant eligibility and spending limitations.

  Advancing understanding of voter, funder and elected officials' attitudes about libraries and librarians; helping libraries understand and articulate their role, work, and impact in society for fundability.    Building political literacy skills among leaders in school, public, and academic libraries to help advance funding and policies that improve services and increase staffing across the country   Finding and amplifying diverse voices at the intersection of library services and politics, with a focus on emerging trends in public policy and tax policy for libraries.

The EveryLibrary Institute is governed by a Board of Directors that sets and achieves the strategic direction of the organization, including its research agenda, fundraising, partnerships and programmatic priorities.
