Early Work and Political Landscape Memo

Before you even begin your library campaign, there is a large swath of work that needs to be completed. You must ensure that this work is done thoroughly and in great detail in order to ensure that rest of your campaign will be the strongest and best it can be.

This training guide will take you and your campaign through building a political Landscape Memo. This is the document that will help guide your campaign and relay the underlying strategies and tactics to new volunteers, staff, and coalition partners. Through the creation of this document you will begin to develop an understanding of your community, your voters, and the tactics and strategies that you can use to win your library ballot initiative.
