Please join us for an informational webinar to learn more about how your library or Friends Group should be leveraging the Google Ad Grant program to maximize your visibility online. Please join us and our co-hosts Koios, an organization with years of experience assisting libraries in boosting awareness of their resources through Google Ads.
Through their Ad Grants, Google provides non-profits, which includes most public libraries, with free in-kind advertising valued at $10,000 each month. With this $10,000/month advertising credit, a library can bring thousands of new visitors to its website every month, a rate easily ten times higher than combined social media efforts. The application is not onerous and the grant continues indefinitely. If you've heard about this but haven't acted yet to get your library or FOL set up, don't wait any longer.
While getting an Ad Grant is fairly simple, creating and managing Google Ads campaigns is not. Our colleagues at Koios (www.koios.co) manage Google Ad Grants on behalf of us here at the EveryLibrary Institute and on behalf of libraries across the country, creating campaigns and monitoring account performance. Koios also creates ads for a library's complete online catalog, allowing individual items to turn up in Google searches.
Webinar participants will learn about Google Ad Grants, program eligibility, and how to apply. They will learn about the program's benefits and its limits, and Koios will present a brief dive into online advertising and website analytics.
