Mellon Foundation Awards EveryLibrary Institute a $600,000 General Operating Support Grant

The EveryLibrary Institute NFP is proud to announce that it has been awarded a $600,000 general operating support grant from the Mellon Foundation. This funding will help strengthen and expand the organization’s national efforts to champion libraries of all kinds, promote reading in libraries, safeguard library funding, and support library professionals and staff.

Over the past year, the EveryLibrary Institute has worked diligently to secure this new grant funding to enhance its capacity for research, training, and advocacy programs. The recognition from the Mellon Foundation underscores the significance and growing impact of the EveryLibrary Institute’s mission on libraries, library workers, and the communities they serve.
