Staying Relevant: Managing Library Nonprofit 501c3 Organizations During the Coronavirus Crisis

The EveryLibrary Institute and the Friends of the Dallas Public Library are partnering to present a webinar uniquely focused on the business of running a nonprofit 501c3 library support organization during the Coronavirus crisis.

The EveryLibrary Institute and the Friends of the Dallas Public Library are partnering to present a webinar uniquely focused on the business of running a nonprofit 501c3 library support organization during the Coronavirus crisis. Friends groups, foundations, mission-driven nonprofits, and membership organizations will learn about best practices for management during the crisis, key provisions in the Stimulus Bill for non-profits, and how to best position your organization during the restart and recovery.

We are excited to be joined by our colleague Mary Wilonsky, executive director of the Friends of the Dallas Public Library, to present a free webinar on Tuesday, April 7th that is uniquely focused on the business of running a library non-profit organization during the coronavirus crisis.

We are inviting other Executive Directors, CEOs, and board leadership from library Friends groups, foundations, mission-driven library non-profits, and membership organizations for a session on how to weather the current crisis and come out stronger - and more resilient - on the other side.

Please RSVP now to receive your unique link to this free webinar event. It goes live at 3 pm EDT on Tuesday, April 7 and will be available On Demand thereafter. All participants will receive the slides and a certificate of completion for continuing education.

We look forward to sharing best practices and real-world insights on key topics like “Continuity of Operations”, “Managing Volunteer, Staff, and Board Concerns”, “Communicating with Your Library / Partners”, “Ongoing Fundraising”, and “Building New Relationships”. Perhaps most importantly, we will share new information from the Stimulus Bill for 501c3 non-profit businesses.

The work you do every day to support your library, the library ecosystem, or your members has changed but your mission, vision, and values stay the same. As library non-profits, we are truly in this together. Please join us.
