Your Library Can Participate in National Vote Early Day

Vote Early Day has made it easy for your library to participate! Join the movement today

Vote Early Day is held on October 24th as movement of nonprofits, libraries and government agencies, businesses, election administrators, and creatives who are working to ensure all Americans know their options to vote early.

We're excited to work with them to help libraries engage with their communities and remind Americans to vote early to ensure that their votes count.

When Americans vote early, they ensure that last minute problems will not prevent them from casting their ballots – and help shorten voting lines on Election Day for everyone. But voting early rules – both for in-person and by-mail options – vary widely all over the country, causing confusion and preventing voters from casting their ballots.

Vote Early Day has made it easy for your library to participate with these great resources. Here you can find a digital and communications toolkit that you can use to encourage your communities to vote!

Your library can legally participate as long as you don't advocate for a candidate or a cause on the ballot, attempt to persuade voters, or make partisan statements. All you have to do is use the Vote Early Day materials to encourage voters in your communities to vote for their candidate or cause on October 24th!
